WATERING AND AFTER INSTALLATION CARE
Water is essential to any new planting. Without it, your plants simply will not grow. Sufficient quantities of water should be applied daily during the first week then reduced to every 2-3 days for the remainder of the first month. From that point, a good deep soaking should be done once a week right through the end of the fall season. Dryer periods in the summer may require additional applications of water.
LONG TERM AFTER INSTALLATION CARE
With proper care in the early stages or first 2-3 seasons after planting, your landscaping should become more self-sustaining. With proper watering at the beginning, minimal watering will be required long-term. But be attentive to weather patterns and climate conditions; a long drought might escalate the need for additional watering, while heavy, prolonged rain reduces the need for any additional watering.
